Where is the boy
Who stood on this corner
Waiting for the school bus?

Where is the boy
Who was becoming a man
Before our very eyes?

Where is the boy
Playing volleyball
Or cheering the Red Sox on?

Where is the boy
We dream of at night?
He took a piece of us with him

This boy lives in our hearts
And in our heads
And in good deeds done for others

For he was a generous soul
Who gave us a gift
Through his life and laughter

And we will never be the same
For knowing him
We have been changed forever
For the better

Christopher, we love you.
